Sunrise Paper Inc. does not charge for samples, provided that they are less than 5 reams per request. However, we get an unbelievable number of requests for samples each and every day and in an effort to keep our operational costs low for all our customers, we require that freight be paid for samples by all customers. We do not ship samples via the post, as China Post is not effective for samples delivery. Therefore, if customers wish to have samples delivered them we require that you pay the freight using one of the three well known international express carriers: DHL, TNT, or Fedex. The method for you to do this is as follows:
Provide us with your account number at one of these carriers and they will bill the freight directly to your account. If you choose this option, the samples must be delivered to the same address as your billing statement is sent to each month. This is the most popular method for samples delivery and is quite easy. We normally ship 0.5kg in a documents envelope, so this cost should be easy for you estimate.
If you do not have an account with an express company, you can go to the office in your local country and request that they pick up a package for you in China. They will require you to pay advance for this shipment, and they will arrange all the details. You simply give them our address and phone number, and they will take care of the rest. It is our understanding the DHL, FedEx, and TNT provide this service.
If it is not convenient to go to the office in your country to pay for the pickup, then you can pay to us $40USD via TT or via PayPal. This payment must be made in advance and you should send an email to request bank information before you make this payment.
If you are currently purchasing in China and have a local office or agent, we will deliver samples free of charge to their office, provided that it is in China.
Note: Many clients prior to order confirmation request that we send them 1-2 boxes (5-10) reams of paper. We encourage this as it allows the customer to confirm the quality of what they will receive and actually try it in their own photo-copiers or printers. This is surprising low-cost. DHL will deliver 1 box (5 reams) of paper to major cities for under $150 and in about 3-4 business days. We feel that this is an excellent choice for anyone considering buying paper from anywhere in the world. To take advantage of this service, request that you use their 10kg special box, and we will load it heavy, to approximately 13kg. If you would like 10 reams, request to use their 25kg box. Fedex also has similar promotional boxes. TNT does not.
